AATBS Terms & Conditions

All prices are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse business and/or to terminate services with anyone for any reason at anytime.

Refund Policy

AATBS has a seven (7) day return policy. This period begins upon receipt of the material and extends for a period of seven (7) days. Customers must notify AATBS within this 7-day period should they elect to return unused materials. AATBS does not accept used items, damaged items, or items removed from their shrink wrap. Upon receipt of return authorization from AATBS, customers must ship materials to AATBS at their own expense via a trackable shipping method (i.e., carrier assigns tracking number to shipment). AATBS will not accept packages or process refunds without a return authorization from our office. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. In addition, there will be a 20% cancellation/restocking fee charged to customers for all cancelled orders and/or returned materials. No refunds or partial refunds will be granted for online products that have been registered. Customers may elect to cancel an unregistered online program within 7 days of purchase; however, there will be a 20% cancellation fee.

Online Programs Policy

A customer who purchases any of our online programs is purchasing an individual license to use AATBS’s proprietary software. Our online programs are comprised of multiple platforms provided in a way to be operated by an individual and will be defined as software. Software consists of carefully organized instructions and code written by programmers in any of various special computer languages. They may be delivered as, but not limited to, a web application, mobile application, and/or desktop application.

The purchaser will be granted a license to access the software upon receipt of funds. Access to the software will typically be provided at the time of purchase, but may vary depending on the product. Technical support will be available during business hours should an issue arise. This license is granted to only the original purchaser and, as such, the purchaser is not permitted to sell, lend, assign, lease, or transfer in any other way any copy or use of the software. This license is non-transferable. Purchaser also may not sell, lend, assign, lease, or transfer in any other way the remaining time to use the software. Any violation of this provision is not permitted and may cause the program to be terminated with no refund of the licensing fee paid.

All online programs are active for a limited time period. All online program access starts at the time of purchase. If you need to request a hold on your access, please contact our customer service team at 424-415-7730, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT.

Additional time in the program is available for an additional cost. The information and content contained in any of our online programs remain the property of AATBS. No part of this information or content may be reproduced in any form nor transmitted by any means, mechanical or electronic, without the express written consent of AATBS.

Hold of Online Program Purchases

Customers who purchase any Exam Prep Package or EPPP All-Inclusive Study Plan may request a complimentary hold on their initial access period (3, 6, or 12 months) by contacting the Customer Experience (CX) team directly. Holds may be requested up to one (1) year from the original purchase date and will pause the remaining initial access time. Holds will be applied to the customer's complete study plan and cannot be broken up by individual components.

It is the responsibility of the customer to contact AATBS with a request for a hold. Hold periods will be effective upon contact with AATBS Customer Experience and cannot be backdated. At the end of the hold period, the remaining initial access time will automatically resume without notice to the customer.

Workshop Policy

Live Online Workshop access is only granted to the original purchaser, and as such, the purchaser is not permitted to sell, lend, assign, lease, or transfer in any other way any copy or use of the workshops.

When included as part of a package, live online workshop participation fees are heavily reduced. For this reason, fees paid for live online workshops purchased as part of a package are non-refundable. AATBS reserves the right, but not the obligation, to substitute alternate products in lieu of a workshop when a workshop is not available to meet customer needs.

The information and content contained in any of our workshops remains the property of AATBS. No part of this information or content may be reproduced in any form nor transmitted by any means, mechanical or electronic, without the express written consent of AATBS.

Educational Coaching

If coaching is included with your purchase, our educational staff is available by appointment only. Hours and days vary depending on coaches' availability. Coaching services may be accessed for the same period as the duration of your enrollment, and only while your enrollment with AATBS is active.

International Customers

AATBS is not responsible for any customs or duty fees on international orders. The customer is responsible for all costs associated with these fees directly through UPS. Notification of any international fees will be sent by UPS.

Defective Material

Providing high-quality products is very important to us. Please inspect your package upon receipt to ensure satisfaction with the production quality. If any of the physical products are defective, please notify us within seven (7) days, and we will ship replacement materials at no cost. AATBS is not responsible for package issues related to handling by the shipper.

Discount / Promotions Policy

From time to time AATBS offers discounts and promotions. If more than one discount could apply to a product, only the greater discount will be honored. AATBS reserves the right to change its policies and procedures at any time without prior notice. (Rev August 2017)

Changes to Contact Information

Customers are responsible for notifying AATBS of changes in name, address, telephone number, and/or email address, to ensure the accurate receipt of shipments and/or notifications.

Online Continuing Education (CE) Course Requirements

After reviewing the course material, customers must complete the accompanying online test. Customers with a score of 75% or better may immediately print out the continuing education certificate of completion. For customers who score less than 75%, re-testing is available.

If cancellation of an online CE course is necessary, please contact us within one (1) working day of placing your order, and we will refund the full course fee. Otherwise, online CE course purchases are nonrefundable.

Validity of Online CE Course Purchases

Online CE courses are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Courses that are not completed within that time frame will be forfeited.

Pass Guarantee

Other companies may offer similar programs and guarantees, but none can match the quality, rigor, and support of AATBS.

If you do not pass your exam (or are not ready to take it, if applicable), you may qualify for a free extension of access, depending on your program type. Details vary by program as outlined below.

For Non-EPPP Programs (All Other Qualifying Licenses/Courses)

If you take your exam and do not pass, or if you are not ready to take the exam 30 days before your course expires or your scheduled test date (whichever is later), you may receive one free three-month extension¹. Additional extensions can be purchased at a discounted rate.

For EPPP All-Inclusive Study Plans

If you purchase a qualifying AATBS EPPP All-Inclusive Study Plan (i.e., 6- or 12-month initial access period), complete a majority of the online study program (including coursework, practice exams, quizzes, and any included live instruction sessions), have studied for at least 6 months, and do not pass your exam, you may receive one free six-month extension¹ of access beyond your initial program term.

The 3-month EPPP All-Inclusive Study Plan does not qualify for the Pass Guarantee.

The Pass Guarantee is valid only for customers who purchased a qualifying program/plan² and meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

• Purchased your program/plan no earlier than 12 months prior to your board licensing exam

Additional requirements for Non-EPPP Programs:

• Completed all online practice exams, quizzes, and/or cases included in your program

Additional requirements for EPPP All-Inclusive Study Plans:

• Completed a majority of the online study program materials, practice exams, quizzes, and any included live instruction sessions, with at least 6 months of active study time
• Provide proof of your failed exam using the Account Service Request form found HERE

BCBA Prep Until You Pass Guarantee

Purchase a BCBA Unlimited Access Package, and you will have access to your entire online study program for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. Your initial access will last for 6 months.

If you do not pass your exam within that timeframe, you can extend your program for an additional 6 months, at no cost, up to 3 more times by contacting customer service at (424) 415-7730, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AATBS may use artificial intelligence and similar technologies in the development and operation of its products and services, including assistance with content creation, research, software development, and related processes. All AI-assisted output used in AATBS products and services is subject to human review, quality control, and psychometric validation to help ensure content meets industry standards for accuracy, reliability, and exam-level quality.

While AATBS strives to ensure the accuracy and usefulness of its content, no system is error-free, and AATBS does not guarantee that all AI-assisted or other content will be complete, accurate, or suitable for every purpose.

By using AATBS products and services, you acknowledge and agree that such technologies may be used in connection with their provision.

Social Media Giveaways

By participating in any Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the decisions of AATBS, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.

Eligibility

Giveaways are open only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and are void where prohibited by law. Giveaway Period and How to Enter

The start and end dates and times for each Giveaway (the “Giveaway Period”) will be specified in the applicable Giveaway description. Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.

Entry methods will be described in the applicable Giveaway description. No purchase is necessary to enter or win unless explicitly stated. All entries must comply with the stated requirements in order to be eligible.

Each Giveaway may also include additional terms, including eligibility limitations, entry requirements, prize details, and winner selection methods. Any such additional terms will be included in the applicable Giveaway description and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Prizes and Odds

Prizes, including their quantity and approximate retail value, will be described in the applicable Giveaway description. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated by AATBS. AATBS reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and the selection method described in the applicable Giveaway description.

Winner Selection, Notification, and Publicity

Winners will be selected as described in the applicable Giveaway description. Winners may be notified via direct message, comment reply, email, or another reasonable method. If a selected winner does not respond within the specified timeframe, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Terms, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

By accepting a prize, winners grant AATBS permission to use their name, username, likeness, and/or entry content for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Platform Disclaimer

Giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform on which they are hosted, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, or TikTok. By entering, participants release all such platforms from any responsibility related to the Giveaway.

Release, Limitation of Liability, and Privacy

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless AATBS from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the receipt or use of any prize, except where prohibited by law. AATBS is not responsible for technical failures, lost or delayed entries, or other errors beyond its reasonable control.

Information collected in connection with a Giveaway will be used in accordance with AATBS’s Privacy Policy and solely for the purpose of administering the Giveaway.

Changes, Governing Law, and Severability

AATBS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel a Giveaway at any time if circumstances beyond its control compromise the fairness or integrity of the Giveaway, subject to applicable law.

These Terms and any Giveaways are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the applicable state laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
